it is with copying from my peers that copying starts to get more complicated. it feels quite awkward to copy exactly (or as best I can) work I simply find on-line from someone I do not know. this is closer to thievery (or stalking!) and is not something I would ever show outside the boundaries of this project. it also creates an odd relationship of original to copy as the originals were designed digitally and whether actually printed or not, they are also dispersed digitally -- while my painted copies turn them into unique objects.
