eyes in the style that Paul Rand drew are really popular these days, I see them everywhere. I noted this to Emily, my sister, and she said to look back farther than Rand, to Picasso and the eyes in his work. when i look at photos of Picasso himself, i see these big, dark, full circle eyes.

the sharpie logos i drew on one sheet of paper with no pencil sketches. the courage to face the blank page with the chubby pen seemed to echo Rand's ego.
